"Saved me from a ticket the first time I tried it!!"
I was a bit weary of the Escort Solo S2 because of it being cordless. The first time I tried it was late at night in my Corvette on a four lane road, I opened her up and was doing over 90mph when the Cordless Solo S2 lit up like Vegas. I hit the breaks and slowed down and saw a Trooper parked up watching for speeders. I would never have seen him and would have certainly had a ticket that night. It has continued to save me from tickets time and time again!

"Works great on my motorbike"
As a biker I often like to pull back the throttle on open roads on sunny days but I do dread the Sheriff is going to be parked up where I can't see him trying to catch me. I did some research online and the best Motorbike Radar Detector was the Solo S2 by miles from reviews. As it is cordless I can just put two AA batteries in and mount it on my wind shield and I am away. The only down side is that I can't hear it.

As Escort have always been the market leaders in Radar Detection I thought I would try the Escort Solo S2 Radar Detector out as I was doing nearly 6,000 miles a month so thought I had better be safe than sorry when it comes to speeding tickets. The device is sturdy and does it's job well. I did buy the so I didn't have to rely on batteries though which is always good as a backup!

"Amazing detection, Sleeky ergonomics, Attractive"
The Solo S2 performs exactly as it is advertised. The only bad points are that the Audio could be louder and the display is sometimes too dim and not very readable but you can adjust the brightness to suit. A metal shell or protective case would be nice but it is the best cordless radar detector there is and it is not far off Escort's flagship models.
